BT Ireland celebrates 5 consecutive years of Healthy Place To Work® certification!

We are thrilled to announce that BT Ireland, one of Ireland’s leading communications services providers, has been certified as a Healthy Place To Work® for the fifth consecutive year!

BT Ireland delivers integrated and secure communications and IT services to major multinational companies, including contact centre solutions, data centre and managed services delivery, network, security, cloud, communications, and collaboration solutions.

Our CEO, John Ryan, commended BT Ireland by saying:

BT Ireland is an example of an organisation that is prioritising the health of its workforce after being recognised for its commitment and success for five consecutive years. The organisation learned that leaders could not take a half-hearted approach to employee health and that they must adopt a culture of driving and supporting wellness through their business. If the leaders were not seen as role models, wellbeing initiatives were doomed to failure as the necessary changes required would not receive support and gain traction.

Commenting on this momentous accomplishment, Managing Director of BT Ireland, Shay Walsh, had this to say:

At BT Ireland we’re thrilled to have been recognised by our employees as a Healthy Place to Work for five consecutive years. As a communications service provider, our people are integral to our business – if an employee feels valued, secure and committed to our purpose it results in overall company success. The Healthy Place to Work model evaluated areas that were important for us to measure and aligned with our values. Our people come first and there is a huge sense of collective pride that we have all been on this journey together to improve our organisation and be the best we can be.

We are delighted that BT Ireland have been recertified, and hope their continued dedication to employee health and wellbeing serves as an inspiration to other like minded organisations everywhere.
